Mr. Bill (Whistle) and Ms Gail, have trained several horses for my husband and I in past 4 1/2 years and we have even bought a show prospect from them. They are hard working, honest people that get the job done and not at the expense of the horse. They ride each horse as an individual not a "cookie cutter". They help you set your goals and strive to make you the best team possible. They have been wonderful people to deal with as a trainer and an agent looking for horses. Our show prospect as turned out just as they said!
We thank The Mitchell’s for everything they have done for us, not just as our trainers, but also as our friends as well.
Best Wishes,

It is always our pleasure to tell friends about our experiences with Bill and Gail Mitchell of Twin Oaks Farm, home of Mitchell Training Center, located in Smith’s Grove, KY. We trust that this letter can adequately reflect that Bill and Gail are not only talented, world-class trainers, but that they echo many personal traits which should be sought in our own personal and professional lives.
Initially, we were fortunate to have placed a young mare in training with them as a western pleasure prospect in 2000. Through their patience, skill, and talent, they worked as a team to train and ride our mare to many honors, including the American Paint Horse Association’s coveted Open Honor Roll for two years, as well as an unprecedented number of futurity championships, and the title of APHA Superior award. Our goals as equine breeders were met and exceeded for this fine mare, only through the methodical guidance of Mitchell Training Center. Subsequently, their friendship and professional assistance have guided many of our young horses toward becoming outstanding show horses and loving companions.
Recently Bill and Gail have expanded their business to include handling broodmares, from breeding through their foaling. Because of their past experience in this vital process, we have entrusted them with our five broodmares and precious foals for the coming year. Their commitment to detail in every area lends to us the total comfort of sharing this process with them. Our expectations are high; but it has been proven that Bill and Gail’s capabilities are unlimited.
In closing, it is with no hesitation that we commend Bill and Gail for their honesty and integrity as it relates to their personal and professional life. They set high standards of those of us in the equine business, and it is clearly our pleasure to share “the ride” with them.
Good luck now and in the bright future to Bill and Gail Mitchell in their new home, Twin Oaks Farm!

"Bill and Gail Mitchell have trained and shown several horses for us over the past four years. All of them have been successful in earning APHA performance points. Bill and Gail are hard workers, and they go the extra mile to accomplish the goals for the horse. They also care about the horses, and take very good care of them. They show at a high level of competition and know how to prepare a horse for that level."

To Whom It May Concern:
Gail and Bill Mitchell trained our horses for several years while we were in the Quarter Horse business. In all the years we were in the horse industry I never met or worked with a more professional couple.
They helped us to become the top breeder's in Kentucky and Tennessee through their training and by helping us get the word out about our stallion. They are both honest and caring and that means a lot to horse owners.
They cared for our horses like it was their own. Now that is what you want in trainers!
Best regards,
Karen Smith
